Dear Orchid Society Program Chairman,
I have prepared two programs that are available to give to your society members in the next year. I have included below the titles and a brief description of each talk. Please contact me if your group would be interested in either of these presentations.
In this talk I describe the proper culture of these jewels of the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil. I cover the climate of the area where they are found and discuss the proper potting and mix that will make them thrive. I also show slides and give a brief description of the major species that are currently available.
In this talk I describe the major bifoliate Cattleyas that are available to us here in the U.S. I also spend some time on the species that tend to be confused due to morphological similarities. The slide descriptions also includes considerable cultural information for the successful managing of these rewarding species.
Please contact me if you think that either of these presentations would be appropriate for your group. I can be reached at the following address: tombiggart@mac.com or by phone at 619-886-8121.
Sincerely,
Tom Biggart
